• DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY BY :
• Processes payments from brokers and policyholders.
• Requisitions and prints direct bill refunds and auto driver voucher payments.
• Responds to inquiries from brokers and Insureds regarding accounts.
• Monitors broker past-due accounts.
• Processes clerical work of Accounting Department including transferring data to the general ledger, printing notices for accounts receivable, creating manual journal entries based upon pre-established criteria or direction from more senior staff.
• Trains other clerical staff.
• Files documents as required.
• Performs related duties as required.####
• WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX :
• Education : A completion of Grade 12 education and completion of one company approved accounting class.
• Experience Counts : One year's experience in the insurance industry or the accounting field.
• Accounting Wizard : Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
• Master Communicator : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and manage multiple tasks and deadlines despite interruption
• Detail Detective : Fantastic detail-orientation skills with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• People Person : Friendliness and interpersonal communication skills — the ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members and encouragement of company culture####
