Robert Half has been engaged by a client of ours in the commodities sector looking to add a IT Support Administrator to their team. This IT Support Administrator (Tier 2) contract opportunity is initially set at 3-months and has the possibility of going permanent for the ideal fit. This role is primarily based on-site in Downtown Vancouver, but providing remote and occasionally on-site support to satellite offices in Squamish. There is the possibility to work from home one or two days per week, providing there are no tasks to be completed in office. Additionally, candidate must possess a valid drivers licence to be considered.

What you'll do :

• New user deployment + setup and exiting users takedown
• Ticket response (Nexus system); up to tier 2, leverage HQ in Asia for more complicated tickets; walk-up support for on-site staff
• Oversee procurement and manage incoming and outgoing inventory
• Assist with projects as needed by HQ in Asia
• Occasionally visit Squamish site to direct external vendors and assist with other IT related projects
