Tasks
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating activities related to major construction projects, including buildings, services, and other infrastructure, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
- Developing detailed timelines and assessing project costs, ensuring thorough planning.
- Assessing risks associated with each project, anticipating impacts, and developing mitigation plans accordingly.
- Actively participating in the preparation of tender documents, analyzing submissions, and making recommendations in partnership with the Procurement Department.
- After granting contracts, planning project execution while considering production schedules, licences, health and safety requirements, as well as all legal obligations.
- Overseeing construction site management in collaboration with the Construction Specialist, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, payments, and compliance with quality standards.
- Conducting and documenting follow-up meetings, engineering assessments, and project analyses, ensuring transparent communication within the team and stakeholders.
- Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role.
- Project management expertise.
- Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
