Description de posteFibre optic network architecture Instrumentation specification and selection Honeywell Control Logix PLC systems Experience preparing control schematics, loop diagrams, and technical documentation Experience supporting procurement, installation, commissioning, and start-up of industrial control systems Knowledge of industrial codes, standards, and safety practices Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. Perform detailed I&C engineering activities to deliver high-quality, constructible designs. Develop and review deliverables, including control system architecture, instrumentation diagrams, fibre optic layouts, and PLC configuration documents. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure design criteria, constructability, and operational requirements are met. Support procurement activities including vendor evaluations, instrument and control equipment specifications, and technical clarifications. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to meet project scope, cost, and schedule objectives. Ensure designs are constructible in the field with minimal revisions. Support cost estimate and project schedule development. Comply with the Project Quality Management System and applicable control system standards. Manage scope and support formal change management processes when required. Ensure I&C work is implemented in accordance with safety, environmental, operability, efficiency, and maintainability standards. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with APEGA in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline Minimum 10 years of relevant I&C engineering experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract Legally entitled to work in Canada

Roska DBO Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer (P.Eng.) to work out of our customer’s downtown Calgary office. The I&C Engineer is responsible for detailed design and engineering support of industrial control systems throughout all project phases, including procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, start-up, and final handover. This is a 12–18 month minimum term role, (Monday–Friday, 8 hours / day).
