We are currently seeking an experienced Tandem Dump Truck Driver and Lowbed Operator . The successful candidate needs experience driving a tandem dump truck and can operate a tractor backhoe and excavator for loading & unloading purposes.

Responsibilities Include :
- Safe operation of a tandem dump truck
- Travel to material suppliers to pick up loads and return to various work sites
- Safe operation and loading / unloading of tractor back hoe and excavator on / off the low bed trailer
- Complete daily preventative maintenance checks on tandem dump truck and low bed trailer
- Assist excavator, pipe layer, labourer and foreman as requested on site
- Comply with established company policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of Class 1 tractor operation
- 1+ years of heavy equipment operation
License :
- Valid Alberta Class 1 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
- Personal transportation to get to / from the job site
- Experience loading and unloading a tractor back hoe and excavator on low bed trailer
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and construction site activities
- Work well under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to work flexible hours and in all types of outdoor environments and weather conditions
- Able to perform the physical duties of the role
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
