We invite applications for the temporary position of : 0.2 FTE Grade 6 / 7 Middle School Generalist & Math Teacher Contact Days : Tuesday & Thursday - AM Lake Trail Community School strives to apply middle school pedagogy based on research and best practices to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in an inclusive environment.
We use a school-wide PBIS model and trauma-informed strategies tocreate a safe and caring school. All teachers are expected to collaborate as a team to offer engaging programs and opportunities such as electives or explanatories for students in areas other than the core subjects.
Our teachers are committed to assessment forlearning through school-wide assessment in literacy and numeracy. We work closely with our Community School Society to connect learning to the community and outside world and provide opportunities for students to belong.
