Work Schedule : Approx. 60 minutes between the times of 12 : 40 p.m. - 1 : 40 p.m. daily (depending on school schedule).

Thank you for your interest in a School Assistant (Lunch-time Supervisor). The role of the school assistant is to provide supervisory support to teaching staff during peak or critical periods of the school day.

This position includes lunch period supervision or as needed by the school and yard duty supervision. Successful candidates will be required to complete online (virtual) health and safety training prior to start date (as well as school in-service training).

Important Information for CUPE 1734 Members :

LA.11.7 Those twelve (12) month employees filling vacancies as a result of their applying to a job posting are to remain twelve (12) months at their position.

Ten (10) month employees are to remain in their position until the end of the school year. This requirement can be waived with permission from the Superintendent responsible for Human Resource Services.

This does not prevent employees from applying for a position or from applying for a promotion during the twelve (12) month period.
