They are looking for a Director of Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary. This is an ideal position for an experienced lawyer who thrives on challenges and wants to join the team of a major corporation! Reporting to the Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, your expertise and knowledge in corporate law, securities and governance will be put to the fore.

The ideal candidate will stand out for his rigour and initiative. With a high degree of autonomy, he must demonstrate proactivity and leadership.

  • Provide advice to management on securities and corporate governance issues;Lead the corporate secretary team and coordinate certain board committees;

Participate in transactions, develop internal policies, oversee corporate follow-ups and contribute to compliance with continuous disclosure obligations.

  • SKILLS REQUIRED : Member of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires;Minimum 10 years' relevant experience;Experience in team management and in-house role within a public company;
  • Skills in financing and mergers & acquisitions, an asset;Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
