Our client is looking for a Senior Business Program Manager to lead discovery and develop project charter for a corporate training program
This is part time (20 / hrs per week + / -) and will be primarily remote with the occasional onsite requirement
Must Haves :
- 7+ years' experience as a Program Manager working with the business
- Experience working with multiple areas of the business to establish a centralized learning platform
- Experience with Executive Stakeholder Management , including leadingdiscovery meetings, establishing timelines, managingcompeting priorities and leading workshops
Responsibilities :
- First step for this work is to establish a project charter in collaboration with Infrastructure Services’ Senior Leadership Team.
- This will define the scope of work and key outcomes in addition to other project details.
- Onboarding to the Service Excellence division and Infrastructure Services department and project background
- Leading the co-creation of a project charter with the Senior Leadership Team (General Manager, Directors, Senior Executive Advisor, Manager of Service Excellence, Human Resources Organizational Development)
- Establish a project timeline with key deliverables and milestones and obtain approval of same from the Senior Leadership Team
- Interviewing / meeting with representatives within other Departments that have developed customer
- focused programs (People, Innovation and Collaborative Services, Planning & Development Services, Customer Services, Operational Services, etc.)
- Interviewing / meeting with key Directors, Managers and Leadership to understand what competency gaps they identify and what behaviours / considerations they would like to see become ingrained in our culture
- Develop options for delivery of a customer-centric learning program in Infrastructure Services, reporting at key milestones to the Senior Leadership Team
- Weekly meetings with the Manager of Service Excellence to provide progress updates, identify any risks / challenges being encountered and propose mitigative options.
- Present customer-centric learning program options and recommendations to the Business Oversight Team in Infrastructure Services
- Develop program resources / materials, as required.
- A more refined project scope will be developed once the consultant has lead the chartering session.
