REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current BLS Certification

I.V. Therapy

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)

Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team environment

Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task

Show an eagerness and capacity to adapt to change

Ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues and management

Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement of this position.

DESIRED SKILLS , EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION

2 years of previous Complex Continuing Care, Long Term Care or Medical / Surgical nursing experience

Locations : South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge

Department : Inpatient & Rehabi litation Services ( Med / Surg / CCC)

Hours of Work : Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental re quirements per the collective agreement.

As a condition of employment , external hires are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department.
