Electrician
As an Electrician you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting.
In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, and load reactors
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic, electrical control systems
- May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum one year of relevant experience
- You have Red Seal Millwright certification
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Hourly rate - $42.00 / hour
Afternoon Shift Premium - Additional $2.00 / hour
Night Shift Premium - Additional $6.00 / hour
