Position : Security AnalystCES Energy Solutions is a dynamic and growing North American oilfield services company listed on the TSX as CEU with revenue of over $2 billion.

It is one of the largest providers of production chemicals and drilling fluid systems and is focused on being the leading provider of technically advanced chemical solutions throughout the life cycle of the oilfield.

CES Energy Solutions is looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Security Analyst.

This full-time, permanent position is located in Calgary, Alberta and reports directly to the Manager, Corporate IT. The Security Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of security policies and experience with various security platforms and methodologies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor and analyze security events.

Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential security breaches.Oversee email security protocols to prevent phishing and other email-borne threats.

Maintain and update antivirus systems to protect against malware.Lead incident response activities, including investigation and remediation of security breaches.

Perform regular security testing, including penetration testing, to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.Ensure device hardening to protect against unauthorized access and tampering.

Manage end-point security solutions to safeguard network endpoints.Monitor network security to prevent and detect intrusions.

Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and control technologies.Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.

Collaborate with IT teams to enhance the security posture of the organization.Complete all other duties as required. Necessary qualifications : Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Must be eligible to work in Canada. Required skillset : Proven experience as a security analyst in a mid-level position.Strong knowledge of security frameworks and risk management methodologies.

Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.

Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and network / web-related protocols.

Experience with KQL (Kusto Query Language) is highly desirable.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset. Canadian Energy Services offers our employees a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
