Business Intelligence Architect

We are looking for BI Architect to join ourteam and will be responsible for the analysis design developmentand maintenance of business intelligence (BI) solutions forcustomers in the enterprise across multiple business lines andtechnical platforms.

Provides production support for users ofinternally developed BI technologies both inside and outside theenterprise to enhance BI architecture design and development.

Assess existing data sources and translate into new BI Solutionsand tools which support the mission vision and values of theorganization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Designs developsimplements and supports highly complex BI applications of strategicor functional importance for an enterprise audience including : integration with data sources;
• highly automated data refreshprocesses; bestinclass data visualizations dashboards and reportsthat communicate critical insights to drive decision making;

testing methodology and criteria to ensure data / informationquality; delivery of training and demos to businessusers.

With minimal direction developsstandards policies and procedures for the form structure andattributes of the BI tools and systems.

Assist with creation of arobust sustainable and scalable Risk Intelligence BI architecturethat supports requirements and provides for expansion

Design and implement conceptual and logical models forthe data warehouse or data mart (data structure storage andintegration).

Lead the database analysis design and buildefforts.

Develops enterprise standards and bestpractices to ensure compatibility scalability and integration withother data platforms

Identifies researches andresolves highly complex technical problems associated withproduction BI applications

Researches newtechnology and develops business cases to support enterprise wideBI solutions

Leads technical project team andresponsibilities using project management standards andmethodologies. Develops project management artifacts anddocumentation.

Define capture and documentmetadata and rules associated with ETL processes Develop and testETL processes

Develops solutions to difficulttechnical problems encountered as part of system implementationupgrades or support issues

Utilizes dataminingskills and business knowledge to convert raw data into solutionsthat provide clear and concise insights into the health of thebusiness

Perform research to advance thescience and technology of intelligent machines

Perform research that enables learning the semantics of data(images video text audio and other modalities)

Work with end users business analysts technical team and developersto define the data requirements and data structure for BIsolutions

Makes recommendations to improveoperational processes relative to efficiency and effectiveness;provides input and organizational context to major architecturaldesigns to ensure consistency maintainability and flexibility withrespect to overall system.

Qualifications :

The position requires a bachelors degree with 8 years ofexperience in data warehouse / BI intelligence architecture designand development.

Significant experience as BI / DW architect onseveral BI / DW initiatives / projects.

Experience in BI development using the Microsoft Power BIplatform

Excellent understanding of MicrosoftPower platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI) and otherMicrosoft BI platforms (SSRS SSAS etc.)

Abilityto specify and document data warehouse and data martrequirements

Ability to provide criticalarchitectural input including evaluating proposing and selectingappropriate design alternatives which meet functionalrequirements

Strong experience with ETL toolssuch as SSIS and SAS as well as familiarity with standard dataextract deduping cleansing integration and aggregation techniquesand best practices

Experience in sourcing datafrom disparate systems with a good understanding of their DataModels and ETL procedures

Delivervisualizations for use on mobile devices

SQLquery writing data manipulation data cleansing and database designprinciples.

Data visualization technologiessuch as Tableau QlikView Cognos etc.

SQL Serverand Microsoft Office (Excel Access VBA)

Possesses a strong aptitude / passion for creative problem solvingwhen dealing with ambiguity

Strong projectmanagement skills with high attention to detail on data and astrong focus on meeting deliverables with time limitations musthave ability to multitask and prioritize

Strong technicalbackground with relational and dimensional modeling skills Abilityto manage projects end to end
