Industrial Millwright

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing processing equipment, ensuring efficient repair and replacement results. The Millwright performs preventive maintenance, handles work orders, accounts for inventory and labor, and adheres to all plant Food / Health and Safety policies.

• Troubleshooting and repairing processing equipment with electrical knowledge.
• Completing oral / electronic work requests in a timely fashion.
• Applying corrections based on mechanical requirements.
• Performing preventive maintenance, regular work orders, and inventory management.
• Welding repairs and fabrication of equipment parts to Food Safety Standards.
• Reading and understanding mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Machining and fabricating equipment repair and upgrades.
• Communicating daily repair activity with the Maintenance Team and Production.
• Inputting notes, labor hours, and parts used into the plant’s SAP computerized maintenance system.
