Pay Range
The salary range for this position is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
Position Summary
Censis Technologies is seeking a talented and passionate UX / UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare software applications.
The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, attentive to detail, and has experience working successfully in matrix organizations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing at customer sites to gather insights and validate design decisions for new products and existing product enhancements.
- Lead the creation of interaction and visual artifacts (like wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes) by reviewing business requirements and implementing designs to help the business achieve their goals.
- Collaborate and consult to facilitate relationships with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Developers.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI-UX design and healthcare technology.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design and enhance website experiences to ensure a cohesive and engaging user journey across all digital platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UI-UX design of software and websites, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, JavaScript, CSS, HTML or similar.
- Experience in design thinking and using best practices for product, website, and mobile app designs.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work and process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in UI-UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field or equivalent experience.
