Job Summary
The Intern, Mechanical is responsible for providing support to the Mechanical department by preparing calculations and reports while gaining experience with engineering systems. The incumbent integrates tracking plans, performs analysis of mechanical design choices, and carries out other projects as assigned. The role contributes to project leadership and oversees the project portfolio.
Major Responsibilities
Provide support to the Mechanical department
Assist in preparing calculations and reports
Provide assistance in integrating tracking plans
Participate in performing analysis of mechanical design choices
Interact with project teams
Assist with coordination of on-site activities
Support the creation and modification of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Notes
Knowledge of reporting software such as Tableau and SmartSheet
Communicates with impact
Completes work autonomous with accountability for assigned tasks
Knowledge of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) and ARIBA
Education
Recent Graduate or working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
