Job Number : 6801 | Pay Rate : $90,000 - $98,000 | Employment Type : Direct Hire

Job Description

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally in a supervisory capacity. The successful candidate will have experience with high-volume accounts payables, cashflow forecasting, foreign exchange, and monthly reporting.

100% in-office in Kitchener, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, which is high-volume and fast-paced.
  • Lead month‑end processes and reporting for AP, AR, and all other transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare / analyze cash flow statements and reports.
  • Complete foreign exchange analyses.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
  • Evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements.

    • Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience handling high-volume accounts payables and cash forecasting
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software required
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
  • High level of organization and detail orientation
  • Strong communication skills
