Description

We are looking for a Feeder - EVOL 100 (Printer Slotter Helper) for our Hannon location. This position will be reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Shift : Weekly rotating 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

Broad Purpose

To safely operate and maintain all press equipment and machinery to produce quality products per company quality policy.

General Job Duties :

• Must work in a team environment and be a team player
• Follow instructions from the Operator
• Perform any and all set-up procedures at standards set by the company
• Prepare the machine for production and run at full speed or above the standard set by the company
• Will be required to set up and operate machine as per orders on Automated take-off robot palletizer.
• Assist Operator with problems and help to keep machine running to targets
• Under lines of progression is required to back-up operator and fill in when on breaks or absent
• Maintain specifications by observing the operation; detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts and adjusting controls as required
• Visually and physically inspect continually for any non-conformances and document all information on quality KQCC form
• Will demonstrate a continual commitment to safety, quality, production and continuous improvement
• Utilize the required equipment to perform all the required quality inspections
• Feed the machine at or above the standards set by the manufacturer
• Perform quality checks before and during runs
• Follow all required procedures
• Reports all problems to your supervisor when they occur
• Other duties as assigned

Safety Responsibility and Accountability :

• Follow equipment specific physical lock out tag out procedure
• Report all hazards / problems to your Operator and / or Supervisor when they occur.

Other available tools are when hazard rating is low.

• Pre-use inspection form
• Use Manager plus and place a work request
• Use of hazard reporting form
• Report injury / incident to your Supervisor immediately
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety act, and Good housekeeping practices.
• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, Hi- viz vest in Shipping / warehouse
• Abide by all plant rules, safety rules and regulations of the Company
• Keep fire equipment and exits clear all time
• Zero Tolerance - Workplace Violence and Harassment : Refer to the policy posted on the H&S board.
