The Tooling Engineer is responsible for power tools, hand tooling, ergo arms, fixtures, and miscellaneous production and maintenance equipment in the General Assembly Department.
- The Tooling Engineer will work with Corporate Manufacturing Engineering and others to develop tooling and process level requirements for new operations product or process;
- Design tools, equipment, and fixtures using AutoCAD; Work with other equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to source, design, build and install tooling and equipment;
Order tooling and equipment; Write projects to replace, upgrade, or refurbish tooling and equipment; and Work with various disciplines to support Stellantis Production Way and make continuous process improvements.
