Job Title : Millwright (can take a late year apprentice)

Job Description

Millwrights are required to work on a variety of projects including heavy construction such as pipelines, chemical plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as industrial projects such as manufacturing, food, and automotive plants.

The role involves traveling and working in different locations across Ontario, including Milton, Kitchener-Waterloo, and west GTA, with new projects in Burlington, Collingwood, and Sarnia.

Responsibilities include start-up and testing, shutdown operations, renovating and restoring, and troubleshooting machinery.

This position requires being comfortable with working at heights, in noisy, dusty, and cold environments, and being away from home for extended periods.

Must-have Skills

• Millwright ticket (433a or late year apprentice)
• Maintenance experience
• Construction experience
• Blueprint reading

Salary and Shift

This role is on straight days, typically 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Rate depends on experience but anywhere from $30 / hr if not fully ticketed, up to $42 for full CofQ
