Daily Responsibilities :
This role will primarily help with various daily activities within the team primarily setting up new securities on Eagle / Charles River, dealing with ad-hoc requests and questions, and supporting other individuals on the team when called upon.
With the expectation that the trading desk in Vancouver will continue to get busier, this person will help the other team members based in Vancouver for security setups, file loads, and other daily activities.
Must have skills :
Strong background knowledge of financial securities is very helpful. Ideally we’d have someone who has experience at a financial institution in a data operations / trade operations type of role.
I’ve found that those who come from a Finance / BBA type of education succeed in this role
- Being able to use SQL and help us run and write queries is also helpful
