IT Field Technician

We are hiring I.T Field Technicians who will provide onsite hardware and application support at the voting locations. This includes replacing / delivering, installing hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
This position requires candidates with excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy when reporting, delivering, installing, testing, updating, and removal of equipment, and confidence in maintaining hardware and software to assure peak technology performance.
Must-Have :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and / or information technologies or 1-year equivalent work experience.
- Familiar with personal computers / printers / wireless connectivity devices.
- Android 8+ or Apple iOS14+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging.
- Ability to work extended hours as required.
- Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- No criminal record.
Nice to Have :
- CompTIA A+ certifications.
- Technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems.
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
- Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.
- Possession and use of an owned car for travel between locations.
