The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the OB / HRM area, commencing July 1, 2025 .

This will be an entry level position and advanced Assistant Professor candidates will not be considered. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Successful applicants for this position must have :

  • A PhD (or completion of a PhD within one year of employment start date) with an emphasis in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, or a related discipline,
  • Demonstrated exceptional research potential, including demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier journals in the field and to maintain a highly productive research agenda,
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to academic and business audiences,
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively teach courses at the undergraduate and / or graduate (MBA or research-based MSc / PhD) levels,
  • Interest in mentoring MSc / PhD students and supporting their academic and professional development,
  • Willingness and capacity to take on service responsibilities as may be required,
  • Strong commitment to collegiality, and ability and willingness to work collaboratively within the department and the broader academic community.
