Job Title : Senior Desktop Publisher

Duration : 12 months

Location : Remote Downtown, Toronto

What you will do :

• Create visually compelling presentation decks and templates, reports, and marketing collateral that clearly communicate our messaging in both PowerPoint and Word.
• Design images, charts, and infographics to effectively communicate key messages and simplify complex ideas and information.
• Drive efficiency and coordination through the creation of templated files for both print and digital assets
• Leverage existing guidelines, creative and overarching concepts to prepare and deliver assets for both print and digital outputs.

Your qualifications :

• University degree or College diploma, preferably in graphic design or related field or a certificate in desktop publishing
• Minimum 6 years’ experience preferably in an agency setting as a production designer / desktop publisher role.
• Experience with high-volume design workflows
• Highly technical skill set with an expertise in MS Office applications e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Comfortable in PC setting.

Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop and / or Illustrator) is an asset

• Must have advanced skillset developing PPT animations, embedding video and slide transitions
• Strong skills in page layout, typography, colour, navigation and information design across print and web
• Experience building, editing, and optimizing print and digital creative files as well as photo-editing assets across various channels
• Solid creative knowledge, with a consistent record of innovative solutions and excellent client service. Strong consultative skills to work with business leaders and align with priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment with executive-level decision makers and critical business issues
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and proactive team player.
