Description de postePrepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Overhead schedules) Post monthly journal entries, adjustments, and accruals Perform monthly reconciliations including prepaid accounts, accrued purchases, freight, and clearing accounts Complete HST / GST and QST reconciliations and remittances Analyze monthly expenses and investigate variances Prepare reporting packages and key financial ratios for leadership Assist with budgeting and annual forecasting Monitor fixed assets and post depreciation Review and resolve unusual COGS and inventory-related discrepancies Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Process corporate income tax payments and investor loan interest Assist with coding and posting credit card transactions and collecting receipts Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting Experience with reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close processes Proficiency in accounting software and Excel High attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-based environments is an asset
