Skills andResponsibilities;
AccountabilitiesReporting to the Core RMP Lead the successful candidate will be anintegral part of a new Risk Marketplace team responsible forfulfilling the 1B mandate by providing guidance on andparticipating in the identification measurement managementtreatment and reporting of risks emerging issues and regulatorychanges.
Through building strong relationships anddeveloping a thorough understanding of the platforms objectives andstrategy the successful candidate will act as a trusted partner andproactively identify challenge document and communicate risks in amanner which enables the entire platform team to make faster andbetter decisions while operating within TDs Risk Appetite.
This successful candidate will demonstrate a balance ofrisk and business acumen to guide the Platform teams as theynavigate through complex risk domains and regulatory requirements.
A key component of the role is to foster andeffectively manage relationships with Risk & Control Partners(Legal Compliance Privacy Operational Risk Fraud GAML TechnologyRisk and others) to ensure alignment to the broader organizationfrom a policy and compliance perspective while also leveragingtheir knowledge and expertise to ensure partner interactions areefficient effective and timely.
Own the risk / complianceoversight for assigned product groups / pods finding the rightbalance between risk and reward in conjunction with both internalstakeholders and risk partners.
Develop and maintain athorough knowledge and understanding of Servicing Platformcapabilities with an emphasis on understanding the interplaybetween various capabilities as well as business segment / journeyimpact.
Actively engage 2nd line partners (ORM GAMLCompliance Legal Privacy Fraud and others as may be necessary) toreview identified feature / project risks and planned controls togain buyin.
