We specialize in risk assessment, mitigation planning, process safety engineering, and the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems. Our services adhere to ULC and NFPA standards, encompassing various fire protection systems and comprehensive inspections.

Role Description

• Design automatic fire sprinkler systems in accordance with current building codes and NFPA standards.
• Prepare general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and HydraCAD / AutoSPRINK software.
• Perform hydraulic calculations using HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK software to determine sprinkler head selection, piping sizes, and fire pump sizing.
• Conduct fire protection system assessments using AFT Fathom or similar hydraulic analysis software.
• Coordinate fire protection piping layouts with other disciplines, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural.
• Prepare material orders and fabrication documents based on fire protection design drawings.
• Review fire protection designs prepared by others to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and practicality.
• Participate in project meetings with project managers and other trades to support project coordination and execution.
