Job scope :

As a member of the Gay Lea Foods Information Technology Department, this candidate will provide functional and technical support of Gay Lea’s business applications, including the ERP, Warehouse Management (WMS) and EDI systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge and technical expertise of Gay Lea’s business applications
• Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management / Finance
• Koerber One WMS
• Manage incoming support tickets from business users to solve application, technical and / or database issues
• Monitor the interfaces between systems (e.g. ERP and WMS, ERP and EDI), and resolve discrepancies
• Debug, test and promote bug fixes, and follow-up to make sure problems have been addressed satisfactorily
• Analyze, design and implement system enhancements and new functionalities where required
• Act as a technology enablement resource for the Gay Lea Enterprise Project Management Office, representing IT as both a stakeholder and expert
• Conduct functionality demonstrations and training to end-users
• Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and with external contractors
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT

Position Requirements

• Solid experience supporting IT applications
• Basic Understanding of general business processes such as Order to cash’ and Procure to pay’
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Team player : ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Effective interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Programming / coding knowledge (particularly X++ and SQL queries) considered an asset

Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or 2+ years of relevant work experience in Information Technology
• Related Microsoft Certification(s) such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Project Management and / or Business Analyst Certifications considered an asset
• ITIL Certification(s) considered an asset
