Marketers on Demand is recruiting for a Configuration Manager who will be responsible for defining and managing the Service Asset and Configuration Management policy and processes for our client here in the GTA.
This role will have you support the IT management to exercise control of IT configuration items to ensure that all service assets and IT infrastructure is up to date.
Key Responsibilities :
- Creation, implementation and communication of configuration management plans, processes, and standards.
- Accountable for the Configuration and Asset Management operation
- Proposing and agreeing interfaces with change management, problem management, network management, release management, computer operations, logistics, finance and administration functions
- Monitoring the population of the asset register and configuration management database
- Take responsibility for the configuration management policy and process
- Control and manage the database, and perform change evaluation based on information received assessing quality of requests for change
Key Skills and Qualifications :
- Relevant IT technical field and service management experience
- Working experience using ServiceNow or similar software
- Hands-on experience with configuration management (working with databases, software and tools)
- Database design and architecture experience
Please note, this is a one year contract with chance of extension. In addition, this is a hybrid position based in the GTA.
