Responsibilities
- Use of electrical measuring and testing equipment.
- Use of technical documentation (Avis Qualité, Avis Technique, DO, verification sheets, drawings, C-18, etc.).
- Apply organizational methods and methodologies (business management manual, procurement, health and safety, organizational procedures, general workshop processes).
- Apply job methods and methodologies (prioritize and plan work, e.g. Day 1 follow-up, distances to be checked, follow-up to ensure proper vacuum, committee lead).
- Use internal systems : product identification, tag, RNC, Poka, etc.
- Solve complex problems requiring in-depth fact-finding and analysis.
- Pass on knowledge and experience to less experienced staff.
- Participate in the development of methods, instructions and tests.
- Act as technical leader.
Your background
- College diploma (electronics, instrumentation and controls, electrodynamics, electrical engineering or other electricity-related college diploma)
- 12 to 24 months experience
- Knowledge of blueprint / plans reading and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Behavioral skills : teamwork, self-control, impact and influence, communication, firmness.
- Knowledge of metric and international systems.
- Environment : working at heights, confined spaces, working with high-voltage equipment (over 600 volts), working with oil, heat, cold, driving vehicles : trucks, aerial work platforms, etc.
- Fluency in English (an asset)
- Knowledge of welding (an asset)
