Job Title : Outdoor General Laborer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Outdoor General Laborer, where you will engage in a variety of tasks primarily outdoors, including moving and organizing construction materials like lumber and large wooden structures in our yard.

You'll spend 30-40% of your day operating a forklift (training provided) and the remainder performing general labor duties that involve lifting items weighing 50-60lbs.

This role offers an opportunity to be trained and certified for forklift operation on-site.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Balzac, Alberta.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a busy, noisy, and dusty yard with about 60 staff members. The area operates with 18 outdoor forklifts and is not transit accessible.

Work conditions include exposure to all weather types and extreme cold during winter months for the majority of the shift.

Shift timings are 2 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM from Monday to Thursday with optional overtime available. Safety is a priority, and appropriate outdoor attire including steel-toe boots is required.
