Position Summary Our new Senior Manager will lead in a team environment, handling compilation, tax, and other engagement files.
Utilizing strong leadership skills, the Senior Manager will maintain client relationships, lead staff, and assist in initiatives for the firm's growth.
This position requires championing the firm’s values and showing initiative to improve all aspects of the firm.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Client and Leadership
- Establish and strengthen relationships with clients and internal staff, acting as the primary contact.
- Effectively collaborate with internal teams, managing work levels and job statuses.
- Thoroughly understand clients' businesses, industry trends, and technical developments.
- Oversee files for timely completion and budget adherence.
- Lead, mentor, and coach staff of all levels, managing a range of engagement sizes, and acting as a coach for the firm’s coaching program.
- Provide value-added services to clients, recognizing opportunities.
- Lead business development and promotional activities.
Technical
- Manage technical aspects, client expectations, and staff involvement on a wide variety of engagements.
- Assist with special tax projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in personal and corporate tax knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and office policies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A minimum of eight years of public accounting experience or other relevant experience.
- CPA and In-Depth Tax Course CPA Canada.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong leadership qualities.
- Committed to ongoing learning and adaptable to change.
- High level of detail and accuracy, ability to work in a deadline-heavy environment, advanced math skills, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
