Who we need

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer experienced in software development with a clear understanding of infrastructure as code to join our growing team.

You will partner with us in expanding our automation development, leveraging AWS API Services to use SDK development leveraging event-driven, opinionated workflows and CI / CD architecture to speed up development and delivery cycles.

Execute and deliver on promises. You want to step into a Senior Engineer role and take on some Scrum Master responsibilities;

it’s what you’ve been working towards. You will create automation frameworks and scripts and recommend enhancements to existing tools or propose entirely new tools with the end goal of scaling the business and automating everything possible

What you will do :

• Build . You will design, develop and maintain our internal platform with automated workflows. You will create, deploy, and manage a CI / CD pipeline for a massive scale, highly available, fault-tolerant, multi-tenant SAAS application.
• Optimize . You will maintain our automated delivery systems that support our development engineering team and pre-production environments.

You will recommend changes to our monitor application services to ensure alignment with availability requirements. You will perform application service performance analysis and scale / load testing.

In addition, you will participate in support as part of an on-call rotation.

Be an expert resource. You will create technical proposals and white papers, and write functional and design specifications.

You will assist with product studies, perform requirement analysis, and develop software architectures to meet requirements.

In addition, you will mentor others and promote open-source collaboration inside our team and other engineering teams.

What you bring :

The technical experience. You have 4+ years as a Platform Engineer, including several focused on DevOps. You have worked in a CI / CD environment, using modern development languages and open-source libraries and packages.

You have experience with GIT control, managing Jenkins or similar environments, and creating workflows for continuous service integration, testing and deployment. You are familiar with :

• AWS services
• API and SDK development
• Python or Nodejs
• Linux
• Docker and Kubernetes
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• The growth mindset . You continuously seek the latest technical trends, tools, and approaches. You are interested in expanding your knowledge of wireless communication technologies.

You may have a GitHub account demonstrating your passion for creating solutions.

The interpersonal skills. You thrive in an autonomous role and you are also a valuable team member. You can have flexible and effective communications skills .

You can draw on your business acumen to confidently apply and present business insights and explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences at any level.

The education. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Or, you may have acquired your knowledge through alternative channels and direct experience.
