We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our commercial laundry plant. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with production staff to identify maintenance needs and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance projects as needed.
• Assist the laundry and wash bay operations as required when not repairing and maintain equipment.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals
• Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
