S.i. Systems' client is looking for an Intermediate Organization Design Consultant to support the team with collecting job information and preparing supporting collateral required for job design and evaluation work - .
This is a 6-month contract, part-time (20hrs / week) opportunity with chances of extension. Highly prefer candidates who can be 1 day on-site in their office in North Vancouver but open to fully remote.
Must Have :
- 2-3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist or similar - supporting the delivery of job analysis, job evaluation processes , and producing job descriptions, role profiles, and associated scoping data
- Experience with process / procedural improvement , supporting job architecture maintenance
- Experience working with internal / external customers and suppliers , troubleshooting and providing information on complex processes and related policies
Responsibilities :
Job design support - Support the team with collecting job information and preparing supporting collateral required for job design and evaluation work.
This includes updates to Job Profiles based on the ongoing competency work that will be required for people portal. This also involves assisting with interviews, research and status updates for the ongoing work.
Job Architecture maintenance - This includes, updating mappings, adding / removing jobs, obsolete / un-obsolete jobs on system.
Develop and update Job Profiles to ensure they reflect the current requirements and competencies.
Position Management -Review position creation and change requests to ensure they comply with agreed controls and guidelines.
Approve requests that meet criteria, send back requests that require more information or adjustments, and escalate complex cases as needed.
- Vendor coordination - convey changes to vendor, pull data / reports / other collateral from vendor.
- Adhoc support - Liaise with the compensation team to obtain up-to-date job profiles and ensure they are integrated into the job design process.
Collect, organize, and maintain project files related to job design, evaluation, and position management. Create and maintain a centralized repository for organizational development (OD) documentation.
- Organizational Design - Contribute to specialist research and analysis to support evaluation of the current-state organization, development and evaluation of future-state organizational design propositions, and identification of the costs and business benefits of change.
- Change Management - Act as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing analysis or monitoring progress with guidance from a project / program manager
