Junior Network Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Network Analyst to join a leading retail client’s IT team. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of network fundamentals. You will be the first point of contact for connectivity issues, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Respond to incoming calls and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to switches, Cisco remote access, port errors, and network drops .
• Escalate complex issues to the Vendor Hotline team when necessary.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to collect and update floor plans .
• Perform VLAN assignments and maintain accurate network configurations.

Required Skills :

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Cisco networking .
• Familiarity with VLAN configurations and troubleshooting connectivity errors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
