ECE 3-5 Programs

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to workinour3-5 Year oldProgram. The position is a contract position;ending August 31st with possibility to renew. The position works in collaboration with the other educators to provide an inclusive, quality program for all the children. We are an inclusive, multicultural,dynamicand collaborative childcare setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement progressive and innovative programming. Other responsibilities include developing strong relationships and communication with children,familiesand colleagues, and implementinghigh standardsof care and supervision that promote the wellbeing of all children.

You are passionate,creativeand have an eagerness to work as part of a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic team in a non-profit and volunteer-based organization. You are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach,TeWhariki / New Zealand and the BC Early Learning Framework. Knowledge of evolving philosophies and pedagogies in early childhood care and education, current trends andpolicyand changing perspectives on working with young children. You have a desire to help lead the way as part of a program that will be inspiring, nurturing, and innovative.
