Role Summary :
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with tax compliance, delinquency issues, and general inquiries.
In this remote role, you will play a key part in promoting customer satisfaction by handling inbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :
Professionally answer and manage inbound calls in a high-volume setting
Resolve Tier 1-level issues with a focus on customer satisfaction
Review taxpayer accounts and ensure information accuracy
Verify, gather, and update key data while engaging with customers
Educate customers on available online resources and current tax policies
Submit requests for payment arrangements as needed
Actively participate in team engagement and continuous improvement activities
Consistently meet performance goals and customer service standards
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one consecutive year of experience in a fast-paced call center environment within industries such as finance, banking, insurance, or telecommunications (not technical support)
Strong multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and customer-focused attitude
Ability to retain knowledge and creatively solve problems
Desired Qualifications :
Spanish-speaking skills
Experience in process improvement activities
Associate’s degree or higher is preferred
Location and Work Type :
Remote (Must report to the office on the first day for orientation)
Additional Information :
This is a fully remote role requiring reliable hardwired internet access with sufficient bandwidth to support work applications.
If using a 5G router, please bring it on the first day for IT setup. Candidates must reside in the Greater Phoenix Metro area and complete pre-employment checks, including a background check, fingerprinting, and a review of Arizona tax filing records for the previous five years.
Training for this role is three weeks long, from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday to Friday. Attendance during training is essential for success.
Work hours may vary within the operating hours of 7 : 45 am to 5 : 15 pm, Monday to Friday, depending on business needs.
