This organization is an industry leader within construction, specializing in residential andmercial developments.
We are seeking a senior accountant immediately for a 6 month, full-time contract with the potential to extend. You will be working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday.
There is also flexibility to work on a hybrid basis after 1 2 months of training.
Your new role :
You'll contribute to the financial management of our projects and operations. Collaborating closely with both the finance team and project managers, your responsibilities will epass ensuring precise financial reporting, adherence to regulations, and optimizing resource utilization.
This includes payables, financial reporting and analysis, reconciliations, receivables, project accounting, taxation andpliance, as well as collaborating.
What you'll need to succeed :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3 5 years experience, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Knowledge of GAAP and regulatorypliance requirements.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

In return for your skills and expertise, there is apetitive hourly pay. You will have flexibility on your daily start time between 6 : 30-9 : 00 am, Monday-Friday.
This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend or be permanent.
