Venor is excited to partner with AML Oceanographic to hire a Production Manager based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
AML designs and manufactures ocean-sensing solutions sensors, instrumentation, and deployment systems for customers on all seven continents.
They have a market reputation for going to the ends of the earth to make our customers successful enabling them to focus on oceanography, not the equipment.
Position Overview :
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Leader, the Production Manager will spearhead a cross-functional team of skilled technicians and manufacturing professionals.
This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, leading morning huddles, managing scheduling, and ensuring adherence to objectives and business outcomes.
As a driving force within our business unit, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing capacity and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Qualifications :
- Technical Expertise : A post-secondary education in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent related experience.
- Leadership & Motivation : A dynamic leader with a passion for mentoring and motivating others.
- Emotional Intelligence : High Emotional Intelligence to navigate conflict and foster strong relationships.
- Communication & Influence : Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
