Sheet Metal Workers

For nearly 40 years, our family owned and managed company has provided Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Refrigeration, and Control Wiring solutions to our customers.
Our head office is located in Kelowna BC, where we have a team of over 95 employees. Our knowledgeable office and field staff allow us to maintain project schedules while delivering outstanding quality.
We are seeking Refrigeration Mechanics (Journeyman or Apprentices) - who are positive, motivated, and organized. Work is primarily commercial HVAC service & installation projects in the valley with occasional out of town work.
JOB DUTIES
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials for cutting and shaping
- Operate machinery such as shears, brakes, and presses to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal
- Weld or solder joints to assemble components
- Install sheet metal products on structures or equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair or restore damaged sheet metal components
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sheet Metal Certification
- Red Seal Sheet Metal Certificate
- 1 year of HVAC experience
- Experience working with a wide variety of commercial / industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude
