About Us :
Established in 1989, Euro-Can Marble and Granite Ltd. is a stone fabrication and installation company specializing in countertop production for the custom residential, multi-family residential, and commercial markets.
During our thirty years, we have worked on an extensive variety of unique and exciting projects, including multi-million-dollar homes, cruise ships, hotels, restaurants, office towers and over forty residential towers.
To maintain the highest quality and to provide timely service, we pride ourselves with producing everything in-house and installing our product with our own teams.
We have been growing at a hectic pace and have now moved to a new 13,000 sq ft production facility, complete with 2 bridge saws, 2 CNC work centers, and a line polisher.
About The Role :
The Senior Estimator is a key role within the Business Development department, responsible for accurately assessing costs for custom stone countertop and backsplash fabrication projects.
This includes completing take-offs for both Custom Single-Family Homes and Multi-Family developments. You will collaborate with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
Your work will directly influence project success, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Review architectural drawings to perform detailed take-offs using AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
- Estimate material, labor, and installation costs for stone countertops and backsplashes.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals for residential and commercial projects.
- Work with suppliers to obtain accurate material pricing.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and production teams to refine estimates.
- Utilize software like AutoCAD and Bluebeam to enhance the accuracy of measurements and proposals.
- Ensure that all estimates meet customer specifications and project timelines.
Qualifications :
- Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam for take-offs.
- Strong understanding of countertop fabrication processes, including mitered edges, cutouts (sink, faucet), and waterfall features.
- 2+ years of estimating experience in the stone fabrication industry.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines.
