Job Description:
We are seeking an English and Cantonese-speaking Executive Assistant to assist the director in overseeing the daily operations of our engineering company.
Responsibilities include:
· Manage and supervise administrative team including receptionists, and administrative staff
· Assist in review, revise and implement company policy and procedures
· Oversee maintenance of office building and related office equipment (office cleaning, safety related items, security, office supplies etc)
· Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee relations while being able to communicate effectively in Cantonese and English
· Coordinate employee training and development programs
· Assist in maintaining employee records (vacation, sick time, personnel files, benefits administration)
· Assist in handling employee concerns and provide support to resolve human resource issues
· Assist in planning and organizing company events and meetings
· Manage office budget and expenses
· Enforce and monitor health and safety regulations according to Ontario law, maintaining a safe and secure work environment for employees
