Job Description :
Our client, an organization that partners with owners and residents to provide consultative solutions is looking to hire a Property Accountant or Senior Property Accountant.
Responsibilities and duties of the Property Accountant are as follows :
- Produce monthly financial statements for all condominium corporation and shared facilities
- Provide advice with respect any unusual items / transaction on the Financial Statements
- Provide advice to the Property Managers and President of the company when required
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statements
- Prepare monthly Journal Entries
- Update monthly Reserve Funds Investment Schedule and notification to PM and VP Finance as to expected maturity
- Preparation of working papers for the auditors
- Assisting with preparation annual budget

Job Requirements :
- Experience with Yardi Voyager
- CPA or working towards
- Microsoft Office Proficiency including Excel and Word
- Keen analytical and strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Supervisory skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to provide recommendations to Management
- Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the production of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including all aspects of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow reporting and analysis
