Vice President, Managed Programs

JOB STATEMENT :

Our accelerated growth at Worldsource continues, as does the evolution of our sophisticated Managed Solution offerings along the Wealth Continuum.

As a dynamic and experienced VP, Managed Programs, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, project management, launch and maintenance of all the fee-based programs offered at our securities and mutual fund dealers.

You will develop, implement and support our solutions, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and externally, in partnership with our advisory field.

You will effectively communicate our investment programs and capabilities to our partners, ensuring our clear and powerful value proposition, and you will act in the best interests of the firm in meeting all corporate, departmental and advisor business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for a subset of solutions for including Unified Managed Account ( UMA ) solutions, Separately Managed Accounts ( SMA ) solutions, Advisor Managed Account ( AMA ) solutions for Worldsource Securities Inc.
• WSI ), and Advisor-led portfolios and iQ by Worldsource for Worldsource Financial Management Inc. ( WFM );
• Leading the development of all fee-based programs and solutions and ensuring their continued competitive evolvement;
• Crafting compelling business cases to aid in the prioritization of program deliverables;
• Ensuring accountability for the financial success of the programs;
• Managing ongoing activities including communication, positioning of investment process and methodology, pricing alignment, facilitation of advisor feedback / requests / exceptions, and reporting / analysis improvements;
• Ensuring close inter-departmental teamwork with Wealth Services & Solutions, IT, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing & Communications to ensure strategic alignment, and that accountabilities are assigned and timelines met;
• Articulating investment solution philosophy, process, resources, and results to internal and external partners; and
• Supporting the Wealth Services & Solutions teams in addressing complex client and prospect inquiries related to investment programs and methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience; professional accreditation is an asset
• Minimum of ten (10+) years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, product development, or product strategy roles
• Experience in investment and / or product management with single-asset class, multi-asset-class, and / or fund solutions including managed accounts
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to engage successfully with all levels of management across multiple business units
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present sophisticated proposals, issues, and arguments persuasively
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to ensure thorough vetting and sound analysis
• Project management skills to successfully drive projects across the company and manage critical dependencies
• Proactive identification of critical issues, development of resolution plans, and quick decision-making
• Basic understanding of technology concepts and trading architectures for financial services / managed accounts
• Dedicated, enthusiastic team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
