Top Select is an e-commerce company distributing major brands in electronic accessories in Canada. Our product range includes Memory Cards, USB Drives, Electronic Gadgets, and Gaming Products.

Role Description

As a Reverse Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the flow of goods through both the forward and reverse channels of our company to ensure efficient movement, processing, and value recovery of products.

This is a part-time ( with the possibility of full-time in the near future ), on-site position ( the applicant should be resident of metro Vancouver ) and provides an opportunity for expansion into broader responsibilities as we are a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Return Processing : Handle product returns from customers, including assessing the condition, sorting items, and determining the appropriate course of action (e.

g., resale, repair, or disposal). Work with our inventory management systems to identify and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Inspection, Refurbishment, and Repair : Assess and refurbish products that can be resold or reused.
  • Procurement : Forecast future demand to ensure supply availability and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure there are no shortages or excesses.
  • Logistics Coordination : Coordinate the transportation and storage of goods and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications :

  • STEM Degree Advantage : We highly value candidates with a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, as it aligns with our innovative and analytical work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel : Experience working with our inventory management systems. Macro knowledge is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Capability to identify and troubleshoot issues with returned items, including diagnosing technical problems and proposing solutions.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to meticulously inspect returned items for any defects, damages, or discrepancies, as well as paying great attention to the preparation of supply chain reports.
  • Organizational Skills : Proficiency in maintaining a well-organized workspace and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical Aptitude : Understanding of the basics of computer hardware.
