JobDescription :
- Supportdelivery of 3D scans and models of petrochemical facilities forDigital Twin deployments across multiple assets.
- Collaborating with other consultants engineers andproject managers to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.Working as part of a team of experts from different domains andbackgrounds.
- Use advanced techniques and toolsto capture the accurate geometry and dimensions of the assets andcreate realistic 3D models that can be used for design analysis andsimulation purposes.
- Integrate data fromvarious sources and create intelligent asset visualizations fordigital twins.
- Programmatically uploadattributes into 3D modelling software and extract data from 3Dmodelling software and compare them with other datasources.
- Diagnose issues and deviations fromstandards in existing 3D models of oil and gas facilities usingAVEVA E3D and Smart Plant 3D software.
- Useadvanced techniques and tools to rectify issues and update modelsto contain complete and accurate metadata attributes.
- Audit the quality of 3D models being delivered by 3rdparty providers for correctness and adherence to companystandards.
- Guide clients and stakeholders inspecifying expectations to third parties for largescale outsourced3D modelling efforts.
Clearly outline and communicate theseexpectations for inclusion in contract documents and / orspecifications.
- Create macros in ProgrammableMacro Language (PML) to automate simple tasks like adding orupdating UDAs extraction of Navisworks / Review files etc.
- Set up the clash management and run clashreports.
- Generate custom reports from the 3Dmodel as per project requirements.
- Configure(including troubleshooting) and extract key deliverables likeMaterial Take Off (MTO) piping isometrics equipment lists linelists weight reports etc.
- Preparation of 3Dmodelling guidelines and specifications including lessons learnedacross assets
Qualifications and Education :
- A bachelors degree or higher in engineering orrelated field.
- Minimum of 10 years workexperience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimumof 8 years work experience working as a Piping Designer and verystrong knowledge of plant layout piping design and pipingmaterials.
- Knowledge of instrumentationmechanical / HVAC Electrical Civil / Structural plantcomponents.
- Must be able to integrate / workwith laser scan point cloud datasets within the 3Dmodel.
- Skilled in laser scanning point clouddata management brownfield 3D modelling and data integration(preferably in AVEVA tools / technologies)
- Should have significant handson experience in using AVEVAE3D modelling and other relevant tools for laser scanning 3Dmodelling data integration and digital twins.
You should also haveknowledge of the latest technologies and innovations in thesefields.
- Skilled in AVEVA E3D software andSmart Plant 3D including knowledge of Programmable Macro Language(PML) and other relevant tools for creating 3D models of oil andgas facilities.
- Proficient with other toolsthat can support your work such as data analysis software cloudplatforms etc. Ability to generate 3D models and associate tagsfrom asset visualization data sets such as laser scanphotogrammetry etc.
- Good communication skillsin English (verbal and written)
- Proactive teamplayer
- Must possess good problemsolving skillsand creative thinking
- Must be able to readunderstand and interpret the contents on a P&ID.
- Good understanding of Design Engineering and associatedwork practices
