We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate professional to join our Software Asset Management (SAM) team. With extensive experience with ServiceNow SAM / SAM Pro application.

BMO's SAM practice focuses on inventory management, product catalog management, exception management, reporting and data quality.

Understands and assesses business strategy in connection with the value of data at scale. Articulates information strategies that meet business objectives by establishing a vision and a target state for organization, people, data and technology.

Designs and applies a comprehensive collection of methods, practices, policies, tools and processes to govern and control the lifecycle of all data assets, that ensures their protection, governance and trusted consumption.

Performs maturity assessments on data management capabilities, designs related organization and operating models and advises on tools and roadmaps to implement them.

Acts as integration point for triaging business requests and managing demand for data support as part of a multi-year roadmap.

Manage exception process

Manage data quality issues

Lead remediation of data quality issues

Works with stakeholders to understand key business opportunities and translate those into a clear, actionable data strategy .

Articulates business cases to prove the business value of information and data strategy initiatives, prioritizes identified use cases and shapes an actionable execution plan .

Identifies and recommends solutions to resolve issues in data policies, data usage, data quality, and metrics.

Evaluates and recommends data governance supporting technologies .

Addresses data security risks and compliance requirements for an assigned portfolio.

Works with across-functional teams e.g. business, technologists, data scientists to synthesize ideas, prioritize efforts, and identify intelligent solutions for business leaders .

Identifies and introduces new data sources that range from standard market data to unstructured and alternative data .

Qualifications :

Experience creating and managing standard operating procedures (SOP)

Issue tracking

Experience managing a process

Project coordination

Data quality concepts

Digital strategy.

Verbal & written communication skills.

Data governance.

Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits :

$74,800.00 - $138,600.00

Pay Type : Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
