Our family in North Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking a responsible and caring individual to join their family as a part-time home helper who is willing and experienced in cooking / shopping and cleaning as well as, come June 2025, helping care for a newborn and a three year old (very rarely at same time).
We are looking for someone who has experience as a Nanny to young children and babies and also has experience in home helping mainly cleaning / tidying and cooking - we are also happy to reimburse for groceries paid for.
We have no food preferences and are open to eating any delicious food including those that may be unique to one’s culture.
We would like to introduce / onboard starting in April 2025 with 4 hours per week to get used to our home, then starting in mid May once baby is born, increase to 16 hours per week (4 x 4 hour shifts).
I would like to sometimes able to leave our baby with you and when they are napping you can clean or cook. Our older child is in daycare from 9am to 3pm.
We are open to one or two shifts being on the weekend, depending on your schedule, and see it likely that hours will increase after the first three months to 20 hours per week or more.
This role starts in April but we are wanting to take the time to find the right fit. We would start with a phone call and then possibly meet for a coffee followed by a visit to our home before making an offer.
We prefer to e transfer or pay in cash and can create monthly invoices. Our home is located in a very safe neighborhood near the 246 Highlands bus route and has ample street parking.
