About Us : 3io Therapeutics is a Toronto-based company developing a new viral immunotherapy for hard-to-treat solid cancers.
We seek a highly motivated CEO with a track record in advancing novel therapies in a start-up environment to lead the company through the next stage of its development.
You will play a pivotal role in raising capital and driving forward the research, clinical development and commercialisation of this cutting-edge technology.
Position : Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities :
- Fundraising (seed round) and building the core team
- Managing the design and execution of the preclinical studies required for a CTA / IND submission
- Working with CMOs to progress manufacturing and process development activities
- Developing strategies for R&D and managing intellectual property
Experience and Qualifications :
- MSc or PhD in cancer biology, virology, immunology, or a related discipline
- 5-10 years of experience managing early stage biopharma projects from inception towards clinical development
- Demonstrated success in raising capital in the life sciences field
Compensation : 3io offers a competitive remuneration package, including share options.
